What a weekend!

So I’ve just arrived home after attending Hobart’s second Etsy Made Local event. And what a weekend it was! There were 132 makers and we had over 9000 people through the venue. It was amazingly crazy.

I want to say a big thank you to everyone who purchased a creation off me, to those who had a nice chat with me and to all the other makers. It was an amazing two day event and I’m now completely exhausted!

After taking a few days off I’ll be updating my Etsy store with new goodies that I showcased at the market. In the mean time you can admire my stall set up.

Thank you once again to everyone who attended the market and supported all the makers. You guys are the reason we do this and it really does mean a lot.

Etsy Made Local Hobart 2018 – bring it on!

Very pleased to announced that I will be at Hobart’s 2018 Etsy Made Local market! It’s back for the second year and set to be bigger and better than before!

When: 17-18 November 2018

Where: Princes Wharf 1, Castray Esplanade, Hobart TAS 7000

I’ll be there all weekend – my very first two day market! So excited! So mark the dates in your diary.  And with a bunch of new designs and products in the work, you get to strap down and enjoy the ride I’ll take you on with my preparing for this awesome event.

I’ll leave you to enjoy this little watercolour galaxy I painted recently. This one is destined to become a card – I’ll show you when it’s all done.

A belated Happy New Year! Plus other news…

A belated Happy New Year to everyone!

As some of you may have known, I attended my very first market end of November. Hobart hosted Tasmania’s very first Etsy Made Local market just in time for Christmas!

The lovely group of people who volunteered their time to organise this market were phenomenal, and the day I attended went well. So definitely lots of kudos to everyone who helped to organise, vendored at or attended the market. All going well it’ll return again in the future.

As with many people I suspect, December is always a busy month for me. All the end of year celebrations, lots of feasting and staring at the Christmas tree and it’s growing pile of pressies underneath.

January was a month of deep reflection for me. After much debating what the new year should bring, I now have a plan! Not going to share this with you just now, but I have a few adventures I’d love for you to follow me on. Who knows, might even inspire you to do something for yourself.
